I've been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for the past 6 years.
I was born in Lille, France, and began studying ballet at the age of seven. At eleven, I was fortunate enough to be accepted into the boarding school of the Paris Opera Ballet, where I trained for seven years. I then joined the Paris Opera Ballet, where I danced for eight years and reached the rank of soloist.
My career eventually brought me to the United States and to San Francisco Ballet, where I spent the final fifteen years of my performing career as a Principal Dancer. Dance was an incredibly meaningful part of my life and taught me so much about discipline, perseverance, vulnerability, and the importance of having people around you who believe in you.
As I approached the end of my dancing career, I began looking for a new direction. I returned to college and discovered a growing interest in psychology. This eventually led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, with the hope of combining my experience in the performing arts with my desire to support others. I was particularly interested in working with dancers, athletes, artists, and anyone facing the pressures and challenges that can come with pursuing something they care deeply about.
What I enjoy most about being a therapist is getting to know people and hearing their stories. I am continually touched by the courage it takes to share our experiences, especially during times when life feels difficult or uncertain. My role is to offer a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where people can feel comfortable being themselves, explore what they are going through, and find new perspectives and tools to help them move forward.
Having experienced many of my own challenges, both personally and professionally, I know how valuable it can be to have someone who listens, understands, and offers support along the way. Being able to provide that kind of space for others is something I find deeply meaningful and rewarding.
