Meena Saleh
I provide neuropsychological evaluations (testing) to adults with cognitive concerns, such as difficulty with memory, attention, multitasking, "slowing down," or changes in language or personality. I investigate neurological and/or psychiatric factors that may contribute to someone's condition. These evaluations allow for more precise diagnoses and prognoses (what to expect in the future). I provide services in English or Persian (Farsi), and I am well-experienced in working with professional translators for assessment in other languages (for example, Spanish or Cantonese).
Neuropsychological evaluations most often help guide the course of treatments. With the patient's consent, I provide documentation and consultation with their regular doctors - such as neurologists, primary care and mental health providers - to discuss potential medication changes, talk therapies, surgical options, self-care strategies, and more.
I find that most important is the patient's understanding of their health - both strengths and weaknesses. After the evaluation, I set time to meet with patients and sometimes their loved ones to provide the information they need to best manage their health. With a culturally appropriate approach, I invite diverse clients to contact me for more information.

Martha Ann Boersch
Martha Boersch previously served for twelve years as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of California. During her career as a federal prosecutor, she worked as Chief of the Organized Crime Strike Force (2002-2004) and the Chief of the Securities Fraud Unit (2001-2002). She was the U.S. Attorney’s Office’s International Security Coordinator and spent a summer in Moscow for the Department of Justice’s Office of International Affairs. In 2009, Martha was awarded the Attorney General’s Distinguished Service Award, the Department of Justice’s second highest award for employee performance, for her work on a complex international money laundering prosecution involving the former Prime Minister of the Ukraine.
After her service with the Department of Justice, Martha spent several years as a litigation partner at the international law firm of Jones Day, and then founded her own boutique defense firm with several partners. As a criminal defense lawyer, Martha represented clients in numerous federal jury and bench trials and has argued more than a dozen cases in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Martha has deep experience in a broad range of white-collar charges, including mail and wire fraud, money laundering, economic espionage, computer fraud and abuse, racketeering, foreign bribery, antitrust, and federal forfeitures. She also has worked extensively on international criminal matters, particularly related to former Soviet Bloc countries, such as Russia, Ukraine, and Romania.
Martha is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. She is an Order of the Coif graduate of the Berkeley School of Law and a Phi Beta Kappa graduate from the University of Oregon with a degree in Russian Language and Literature.

In 2026 Oakland, CA will kick off its Black History Film Festival screening event to join film hosts from Atlanta, Washington, DC and Miami
The venue is being confirmed and we are seeking a library but this one may not be the final venue. The day is locked in. RSVP today for the 1st Annual Black History Film Festival of Oakland. The Black History Film Festival was created by Marvin Arrington Jr in Atlanta in 2008. The festival expanded to Washington, DC in 2015 hosted by Richard Campbell and last year in Miami, FL hosted by Jason Jones. In 2026, the Black History Film Festival expanded to Oakland. We like to keep it local as part of the City's revitalization program and host the screenings in a library. More information to come.
