Come play International Mahjong aka Chinese Official or MCR
Hi we're the San Diego Mahjong Club! We’re a friendly, inclusive club of Mahjong enthusiasts. Join us for an exciting and challenging game of MCR, also known as Chinese Official Mahjong or International Mahjong! Everyone is welcome, but this event is designed for players already familiar with the basic rules of Mahjong.
New players are welcome to give it a try — just know that MCR is one of the more challenging Mahjong variants and has a steeper learning curve than other styles. If you’re up for the challenge, we’ll be happy to have you at the table!
If you’d prefer a more beginner-friendly introduction to Mahjong, check out our Mahjong Night event, where we play the easier-to-learn Zung Jung format.
