Women Organizing Women, Inc. (WOW) is a Christian based and community focused non-profit organization. WOW collaborates with community partners to provide support, resources, and tools to educate, empower, and cultivate women and children in underserved communities.
The vision of Women Organizing Women is to undo mindsets and belief systems that causes depression, lack and abuse. WOW’s vision is realized through the word of God, prayer, and evangelistic/ community outreach. The accomplished vision of WOW makes global generational impact in families, communities, and nations of changed mindsets and realities of joy, prosperity, and safety through Christ Jesus.
Women Organizing Women globalized goal is to tell all about the good news of Jesus Christ, to provide aid to women and children in underserve communities, to provide healing and restoration through the word of God, prayer, programs, mentorship, coaching, conferences, classes, summer camps, retreats, and to provide support in the empowerment of women in reaching their ultimate goals personally, in their family, business, and community.
The principles by which WOW operate are based on the Holy Bible passage of scripture Isaiah 61. We believe as Christians we are all purposed and anointed to share the good news of Jesus Christ and to aid those who are underserved, underrepresented and unfortunate due to life’s circumstances. Through established community partnerships and our members, WOW has supported women and children for over 30 years. These support efforts include prayer, evangelistic and community outreach, youth summer camps, feeding the homeless and more!
The organization is comprised of professional women from all walks of life. WOW works diligently to create platforms of mentorship, coaching, training, and resources that make impressionable and impactful differences in the lives of women and children. WOW currently serves the communities of Gary, In, Temecula, Ca and the surrounding areas, Mobile, AL Detroit, MI, Jackson, TN, Forrest City, AR, Cote d Ivoire, Africa, and Kakinada, India.
