(Los Angeles) The Chinese Culture Development Center (CCDC), founded in 1995, is an influential cultural institution based in the Western U.S. with its business ranging from live performances, lectures, to competitions, and community programs. In 2021, SILU INC took over the center’s operations and charted new business in intercultural communication, cultural program planning, entertainment management, social media marketing, and publication.
CCDC is committed to producing and planning programs that serve cultural diversities in different communities, presenting project lineup, such as “Dancing LA,” “Chinese Cultural and Creative Competition,”, “East Meet West” concerts, etc. In 2024, CCDC launched its most recent cultural & culinary brand, Taste China, which focuses on Chinese food and culture experience in the U.S and serves high-end costumers in the country and beyond. In the Exhibition business, CCDC has accumulated extensive resources and experience through cooperation with domestical and international professional photographer. It created notable projects such as the Los Angeles Chinese Photographic Festival, U.S.-China News Photo Exhibition, and AAPI: Living Heritages.
