The Real Pride Network was established in 2020 out of demand for a North American LGBTQ2+ real estate organization devoted to making LGBTQ2+ real estate connections, enhancing our professionalism, and giving back to our community.
Our network serves two principal functions. The first is to connect members of the public, for no charge or fee, with LGBTQ2+ real estate and related industry professionals who are committed to our values. The second is to bring like-minded LGBTQ2+ professionals together to share referrals, engage in professional development events, and to grow lasting relationships based on integrity.
As real estate industry professionals, we acknowledge our responsibility to give back to our community. As a 501(c)3 public charity, core to our mission is supporting efforts relate to housing. We are committed to addressing the immediate needs of the most housing marginalized members of the LGBTQ2+ community. We are further committed to advocate for non-discrimination in housing.
Real Pride Network brings together LGBTQ2+ professionals in the real estate industry who are committed to a high level of integrity in everything we do. We connect like-minded consumers with our professionals. We then give back to those in our community facing housing challenges. We further advocate for equality in housing, with a particular emphasis on safe housing for LBGTQ2+ seniors and youth experiencing homelessness. Our core values are inclusivity, democracy, transparency and accountability.

For over two decades, African American Real Estate Professionals DC Chapter (AAREP DC) has been a driving force in providing a supportive network for African Americans working in the commercial real estate industry. Founded as a small group in Washington, D.C. in 1995, this network has grown into a full-fledged professional association with an extended reach of over 1500 individuals.
AAREP DC’s mission statement, “To facilitate economic parity through real estate,” sets the tone for the organization’s programs and activities, and challenges each member to do their part to ensure the continued success of the organization. AAREP DC embraces representation from every major discipline in the industry – from site selection and acquisition to commercial leasing and property management.
With a broader scope as a talent pool for diversity in the commercial real estate industry, AAREP DC has gained recognition throughout the Washington real estate community as a highly successful professional association, known for both the depth of its membership and the success of the programs and activities undertaken by the group. Programs and activities include evening programs featuring speakers addressing current industry topics, an entrepreneurship center to support the growing needs of African American entrepreneurs in the business, and a star-studded annual awards gala.
The success of AAREP DC has led to the formation of a national organization with six additional chapters in Baltimore, Boston, New York, and North Carolina, and other metropolitan areas on the horizon.
