The Turkish Embassy has been serving at its current chancery in Washington, DC’s famous Embassy Row in Massachusetts Avenue since 1999. There are also the Office of the Armed Forces Attaché, the Office of the Education Counselor, the Office of the Social and Religious Counselor, the Office of the Press Counselor, the Office of the Commercial Counselor, the Office of the Customs Counselor, the Office of the Culture and Tourism Counselor, the Office of the Economic Counselor, the Office of the Agricultural Counselor and the Office of the Planning Counselor in the Embassy.
The consular services throughout the US are being covered by the Embassy and the Turkish Consulates General in Houston, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles and Bostonaccording to states in the country. The States that fall under the responsibility of the Consular Section of the Embassy are District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia.
Turkey also has Honorary Consuls in Baltimore, San Francisco, Atlanta, Seattle, Flowood, Kansas and Detroit.
Our focus is on public education and advocacy programs that support Turkish American civic empowerment and strong United States – Turkey relations. TASC includes Turkish American Community leaders, many of whom are also leaders in other Turkish American organizations.
Individual and group participation in TASC is voluntary. TASC decisions do not bind other organizations in which TASC officers and directors may be active, unless such organizations agree to participate in a TASC program.
TASC’s mission is to promote and amplify a united Turkish American voice on issues that affect the Turkish American community and United States-Turkish relations. TASC pools the resources of participating organizations for the common interests of the community. TASC coordinates the complementary capabilities of participating organizations.
