The Women's Council of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (WC of NAREB) contributes to the growth and professional enhancement of its members and the communities we serve. Women's Council (WC) also plays a viable support role in our parent organization NAREB (National Association of Real Estate Brokers) as its strongest affiliate. Many of our members are very active of NAREB's other affiliate organizations.
The Women's Council mission offers financial literacy education for the public, educational scholarships for youth, leadership designations for our members, and the exchange of ideas through networking. Women's Council is a non profit organization that focuses on the community and its grassroots effect.
With over 15 actively working chapters nationwide, the Women's Council is growing larger and stronger in the community to provide Financial Literacy information and education to homeowners, potential buyers and sellers, as well as our members on a daily.
The primary objectives of the Women's Council of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, Inc. are:
- To encourage the exchange of information and ideas pertaining to business problems that affect its members; and to work in an united effort to find a solution
- To furnish members through group learning techniques the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the principles and methods of real estate practices.
- To encourage Realtist Women to support their local chapter and attend State and National education conferences and real estate conventions.
- To initiate & support education programs for youth and women and to provide incentives for other programs that benefits the individual and the company.
- To assist in the information of local chapters for the purpose of providing women with leadership training and other benefits of the council.

The Women’s Council of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (WC of NAREB®) is an affiliate of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, Inc. (NAREB®), which includes membership from multiple disciplines in the real estate industry. America’s oldest minority professional trade organization, NAREB was founded in order to promote "Democracy in Housing". The genesis of the Women’s Council of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers was born over fifty years ago. The vision and determination of a few women made the WC of NAREB® a reality; in 1971, at the NAREB Convention in Atlanta, Georgia, the Council was formed and organized. The Women’s Council represents the largest of NAREB’s eight affiliate organizations. Today, women comprise 53 percent of the National Association of Real Estate Broker’s membership with women participating in all divisions and aspects of the organization. There are currently twenty-four WC of NAREB® chapters nationally. The Jacksonville chapter, Women's Council of the First Coast, was chartered on July 24th, 2021 at the 74th NAREB National Convention.

Florida community association attorney Donna DiMaggio Berger is the founder and Executive Director at Becker & Poliakoff's Community Association Leadership Lobby. She is also the host of the firm's podcast about life in common interest ownership communities. As a board-certified specialist, she works with policymakers and assists clients in disputes concerning condominiums, cooperatives, and homewoners associations.
Ginny Powell Stewart grew up in Crestview, FL and graduated from Crestview High School with Honors in 1997. After graduation, Ginny attended Florida State University where she earned a Bachelor's degree in English Literature, Cum Laude, in 2001, and a Juris Doctorate degree in 2005.
After graduating from law school, Ginny spent four years working as a health care attorney for the Georgia State Senate in Atlanta. During this time, she obtained certification in Health Policy from Georgia State University. She joined the firm in 2009 after moving back home to be closer to her family.
Ginny devotes her practice to automobile accidents and injury cases, and she maintains close personal contact with all of her clients. She is a member of the Florida Bar, the Okaloosa Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice.
Ginny is married to her high school sweetheart, Brad, and they live locally with their two children.
