Founded in 1985, the Chinese Cultural Association of South Florida in Boca Raton has spent nearly four decades building bridges between cultures and strengthening community bonds across South Florida. As a cherished nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) charitable status, CCASF has become a vital gathering place for Chinese American families, adoptive families, and community members who value cultural understanding and heritage preservation. The organization's three core objectives reflect its deep commitment to the community: increasing Chinese culture awareness and participation in Chinese arts and education among South Floridians, providing a meaningful bridge to understand and preserve Chinese culture and heritage, and facilitating successful transitions into American society for new Chinese immigrants and children adopted from China. Serving several hundred families from north Broward County through North Palm Beach County, CCASF recognizes that cultural identity matters—especially for the many families who have welcomed children from China into their homes and seek to honor their children's heritage. Beyond traditional education, CCASF fosters genuine community connections through social gatherings, cultural celebrations, and recreational programs that bring people together. Based in Boca Raton, this trusted organization demonstrates that cultural preservation and community support go hand in hand, creating spaces where families can learn, celebrate, and belong while honoring the rich traditions that connect them to their roots and to one another.
