Founded with the purpose of strengthening cultural bonds and preserving Croatian heritage, Croatia Club of Tampa Bay, Inc. Florida has been serving the Clearwater community and greater Tampa Bay area since its establishment. This non-profit organization represents approximately 300 Americans of Croatian origin who share a commitment to celebrating their shared history, traditions, and identity. The club's journey began with a vision to create a dedicated space where members could gather with pride, culminating in the opening of their cultural center in Clearwater in 2010—an event marked by the presence of Croatian Ambassador Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic and over 150 members. Sustained primarily through community donations, the organization embodies the principle of "Victoria in Simultatem"—victory in togetherness—which serves as the club's guiding philosophy. Beyond cultural celebrations, the club plays an important role in promoting Croatian interests and preserving Croatian American identity throughout Florida. The organization welcomes everyone regardless of ethnic background, reflecting its inclusive approach to community building. Through regular social gatherings, cultural events, and community initiatives, Croatia Club of Tampa Bay continues to strengthen connections among members while sharing Croatian heritage with the broader Clearwater and central Florida community.
