Grissell Carbonell Carvallo, Esq. is the Managing Member of the GCC Law Center, LLC. Ms. Carbonell attended St. Thomas University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Sociology in 1995. Prior to attending St. Thomas University School of Law for her Juris Doctorate, Ms. Carbonell enrolled in the Navy for four years, and was stationed in Ft. Meade, Maryland; Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; and Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, Florida, as a Public Affairs Journalist.
Also, prior to attending law school, Ms. Carbonell earned invaluable work experience, with the Immigration Department of Holland & Knight, LLP; as the Pro Bono Director of the Cuban American Bar Association Pro Bono Project; and as the Executive Director of the Cuban American Bar Association.
Ms. Carbonell is actively involved and has provided extensive pro bono hours in the Cuban American Bar Pro Bono Project, Dade County's Put Something Back Program and Lawyers for Children.
