Vietnamese American Healthcare Professionals Association of Georgia (VAHPAG) emerged from a recognized need to unite healthcare providers serving the Vietnamese American community in Lawrenceville and throughout Georgia. This nonprofit organization exists because Vietnamese American healthcare professionals understood that collaborative effort creates meaningful change—both for individual practitioners and for the communities they serve.
At its core, VAHPAG is a place where healthcare professionals find belonging and purpose. Members gather to exchange experiences, learn from one another's expertise, and work together toward shared goals that extend beyond individual practice. The association recognizes that Vietnamese American healthcare workers bring unique cultural perspectives and deep community connections to their professions, and VAHPAG creates space to honor and amplify these strengths.
The organization's mission centers on preserving and promoting the health and well-being of Vietnamese Americans through education, research, and service. VAHPAG actively mentors the next generation of Vietnamese American healthcare professionals, ensuring that cultural knowledge and professional excellence pass forward to future practitioners. Through community partnerships and collaborative initiatives, the association addresses real healthcare disparities and works to build healthier Vietnamese American communities. Whether you are a student exploring healthcare careers, an established professional seeking community connection, or someone passionate about serving your community, VAHPAG welcomes you to participate in meaningful work that honors both professional excellence and cultural heritage.
