Diane earned her B.A. degree from New York University and obtained her J.D. degree from Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Early in her career, Diane moonlighted as an Adjunct Professor at John Marshall School of Law, where she taught Evidence and led a Trial Practice Team and was an instructor in Family and Business Law Courses for the Paralegal Program at Chattahoochee Technical College.
Diane is the founder of The Cherry Law Firm P.C., a premier family law firm located in Kennesaw, Georgia. Diane brings her courtroom and classroom experiences to bear in each new case and delivers cost-efficient and effective legal representation in every family law case, including divorce, property division, child custody and post-divorce modifications. Although she has had substantial litigation experience and a history of success, Diane encourages clients to use mediation and mutually respectful, good faith negotiations to resolve differences, whenever possible and appropriate.
Diane is a Certified Guardian Ad Litem and often takes pro bono cases for the Cobb Justice Foundation, Legal Aid of Atlanta and the National Women’s Law Center. Diane also serves on the Board of several non-profit community organizations, including The Center for Family Resources, Georgia Alzheimer’s and Dementia Association and The Cobb Library Foundation.
