YAGODY’s music is an initiation ritual.
It is the wind across the steppe.
It is the voice of your ancestors.
A living energy, a musical trance, a dance of voices.
YAGODY performs in a style we call ethno-drama — traditional Ukrainian vocal polyphony blended with theatrical storytelling and ritualistic elements. On stage, their performance becomes a living rite, unfolding between song, physical presence, rhythm, and silence. This is not just a concert, but an immersive experience where the human voice becomes a vessel of memory and the stage turns into a shared ritual space.
YAGODY’s songs weave together Ukrainian laments, motifs from different cultures, and subtle theatrical magic. YAGODY’s music feels like letters from the past that were never delivered — a garden of memory where past and present embrace.
YAGODY took part in Ukraine’s Eurovision National Selection (2024–2025) and has toured internationally, performing at major festivals and venues including FITS (Romania), Pannonica (Poland), Rudolstadt Festival (Germany), and Sziget (Hungary). Their performances have reached audiences across Europe and North America, presenting Ukrainian vocal tradition as a living, contemporary art form.

The potluck is optional, but is a great chance to connect others in the audience and maybe even share a meal with the artist. It also helps ensure the artist isn't having to have a meal from a gas station. We'll provide the plates, bowls, silverware, napkins, and, if you need it, serving spoons. Feel free to bring anything you'd like--an entrée, appetizer, dessert, or drink to share. Bring something you will enjoy eating, because if you enjoy it it is likely others will as well.
