Founded in March 1985 with a mission to honor and celebrate Irish heritage, St. Patrick's Society Quad Cities USA has grown into a prominent and beloved institution serving the Davenport, IA community and beyond. What began as a vision to establish a meaningful connection to Irish traditions has evolved into a thriving organization that touches thousands of lives each year through its signature Grand Parade—a bi-state tradition that has become integral to the regional identity since its inaugural march in 1986. The Society represents more than just celebration; it embodies a commitment to community values and cultural preservation. Through partnerships with other Irish and Celtic heritage organizations, the establishment of the St. Patrick's Society Irish Memorial, and ongoing scholarship awards, the organization demonstrates its dedication to nurturing the next generation while honoring the past. Members and volunteers work collaboratively to plan events that authentically reflect the Irish spirit, creating opportunities for families and community members throughout the Quad Cities to connect with their heritage. Governed by a Board of Directors and sustained by the generosity of members, boosters, and sponsors, St. Patrick's Society Quad Cities USA continues to strengthen the cultural fabric of Davenport and the surrounding region, proving that community-driven organizations can create lasting traditions and meaningful impact.
