Founded by dedicated teachers and educators from both the United States and Armenia, Armenian Volunteer Network operates from Lenexa, KS with a mission to strengthen educational opportunities for Armenian students while building lasting connections between Armenia and the international community. The organization was established on the belief that education serves as a foundation for brighter futures, that meaningful relationships develop when people learn about Armenian culture and values, and that each new generation holds tremendous promise for positive change. Armenian Volunteer Network brings together a global community of volunteers—from the United Kingdom to China, from Russia to Argentina—united by a shared desire to advance education in Armenia. These volunteers represent diverse professional backgrounds and life experiences, yet all demonstrate genuine commitment to supporting Armenian students and institutions. The organization works collaboratively with Armenian schools, universities, and community organizations to identify educational needs and match them with qualified volunteers who can provide instruction, mentorship, and professional expertise. Beyond classroom instruction, Armenian Volunteer Network fosters meaningful cultural and intellectual exchange, helping Armenian students access world-class education while enabling international volunteers to develop deeper understanding of Armenian people and society. The organization's volunteer-led model emphasizes personal connection and relationship-building, creating partnerships that extend beyond traditional educational transactions. By operating as a network of dedicated individuals rather than a corporate entity, Armenian Volunteer Network maintains authentic commitment to its core belief that education and cultural understanding can transform communities and create bridges between nations.
