Come join us at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church on August 30th as we celebrate 35 years of Ukrainian independence and democracy. We will have performances by the Ukrainian Children’s Ensemble “Sribni Dzvinochky” (Silver Bells) and the Adult Ensemble “Sribni Dzherela” (Silver Springs). Learn more about Ukrainian culture and history through tours of our wooden church, built without a single nail in line with traditional Ukrainian church architecture. Enjoy Ukrainian food and play Kozak sport games. Fun for all ages!
A three-day conference putting two of the world’s leading philosophers of religion in dialogue for the first time
Call for Papers
We invite contributions that bring the thought of William Desmond and Emmanuel Falque into dialogue, specifically in relation to the triptych God, revelation, and finitude. We are especially interested in papers which go beyond the schism between metaphysics and phenomenology. We also welcome papers which exclusively treat either Desmond or Falque. Privilege is given to those papers which treat the above triptych and can gesture towards the dialogue, along with thinking beyond the division of metaphysics and phenomenology. Please submit an abstract of 300 words and a short intellectual biography. The deadline for submissions is January 1st, 2027. Submissions should be sent to: [email protected]. You will be notified of acceptance no later than January 14th, 2027.

The HTs are on the road again in support of their new album "Strange Land." Last summer they retreated to the mountain tops to record their sixth album. This summer they're taking these new songs (and old favorites) to the streets with their sundry folk instruments in tow. Come join us for an unforgettable evening of music, storytelling, and authentic Dominican roots tradition.
The concert will be held in the Parish Hall of Saints Philip and James Church.
