Korean American Community Association of Howard County is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the various needs of Korean American Residents in Howard County, Maryland.
Our organization strives to promote the rights of Korean Americans and assists them in overcoming various difficulties they may encounter and helping them to achieve their dreams. In addition, our organization is providing informational resources and referral services to the Korean American Community through networking, communicating, and working together with other ethnicity organizations and different Korean organizations.
It is the mission of the Korean-American Democratic National Organization (KADNO) to empower the Korean-American communities throughout the nation through active participation in the political process.
In this ever-changing political climate, it is vital that the voice of the Korean-American Community is heard. KADNO connects state and local Korean-American Democratic organizations and individuals in a national network so that our national community benefits from the strength of our synergy.
KADNO strives to increase the representation of the Korean-American community in government and the political process by supporting qualified Korean-American candidates to elected and appointed offices. Our community is empowered through the dissemination and sharing of information; the education, registration, and encouragement of our voting citizens; and through the fundraising and support for qualified candidates of Korean-American descent and friends of the Korean-American community.
KADNO is committed to reaching out to the Korean-American and mainstream communities throughout the nation and to providing a means for every individual to become involved, from volunteers to candidates. We are further committed to forming coalitions and partnerships with other national and local Democrat organizations for the betterment of our community and the nation as a whole.
