Welcome your summer with a Ukrainian children’s fantasy comedy!
“Office of Magical Forces,” a story where behind the familiar facades of modern Kyiv buildings lies another world, full of magic, dangers, and ancient mysteries have been officially presented. The movie blends the rhythm of a city with Ukrainian mythology, inviting audiences on an adventure that begins right on Khreshchatyk, Kyiv’s central street.
The film is in Ukrainian with English subtitles.

Creating A New World Vision from Ancient Design
Considered by many to be a "sacred magical art", the creation of a talisman with specific intentions written into the life-giving egg, the Pysanky is an ancient means to celebrate the cycles and events in nature and in life.
Created using motifs rooted in nature and the cycles of life, designs are made with simple instruments (made of wood and copper) called kistkas, the humble materials of beeswax and candlelight, and intensely vibrant dyes.
Class Experience
Create a beautiful egg in the time-honored Ukrainian tradition of Pysanky, or create a symbolic piece of art to invoke a new world vision.
This workshop will explore the art in a free form, using symbolism that tells a specific story and holds a deliberate intention. Instructor Coreen Weilminster has been making Pysanky for over 30 years.
*The instructor will be offering opportunities to support the World Central Kitchen on the frontlines of Ukraine with each class.

What To Bring
Participants must bring an empty egg carton to transport their piece home safely.

Due to the small size of our classes and the planning required, we are not able to issue refunds for missed classes.
For classes with a waitlist, if we are able to fill your spot, we are happy to issue a refund.

On December 28, 2025, Ukraine Volya Foundation, together with St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church in Baltimore, MD, is hosting a very special event.
We’ll be watching “Through Their Eyes - Human Postcards” a series of very moving short films about Ukrainian children growing up during the war in Ukraine— created in collaboration with award-winning filmmaker Nora Jaccaud.
These are not just stories. They are emotional time capsules — filled with raw wisdom, quiet strength, and the kind of truth only a child can offer.
”Through Their Eyes” Children Stories Documentary will be followed by Q&A with Ukraine Volya Foundation President. Refreshments will be available.
