Tola's Room is a Puerto Rican home museum and culture space in Northeast Baltimore that celebrates and educates visitors about Puerto Rican/Nuyorican culture and history, with an emphasis on Baltimore’s local boricua narrative. The space hosts exhibitions, workshops, and collaborative projects that center the home as a place of connection, fostering a deep sense of belonging within the community.
Du Bois-Diggs Center for Race and Social Justice Race and Social Justice Summer Training Institute Series 2026 Select Dates June - Aug
The Du Bois-Diggs Center for Race and Social Justice Race and Social Justice Summer Training Institute Series 2026 schedule is available (additional remote dates TBA). This year will be an immersive program dedicated to addressing systemic racism and social justice through research, education, activism, and community engagement on select dates during the summer. The first 25 registered participants will join us complimentary (for the open to all sessions). Each additional registrant (26 registered guests+) will pay a flat fee (for the open to all sessions).
This hybrid (remote, in-person, and hy-flex) institute will convene a diverse group of facilitators and participants to catalyze social change on select dates in June, July, and August 2026.
Through interactive sessions, keynote lectures, panel discussions, presentations and cultural experiences, participants will explore how systemic racism and social justice intersect and will work together to co-create strategies for liberation.
A purpose driven experience summer mentoring program focused on leadership, brotherhood, wellness, and real-world growth.
GPS Youth: The Compass Project
When: Starting Every Friday July 31, 2026 - August 21, 2026 at 8:00 AM - 6:00PM (Eastern Daylight Time)
Where: Julie Community Center, 100 S Washington St
Registration Opens June 19th! This is a every Friday 4 week commitment!
Join us for a summer mentoring program designed specifically for boys ages 10-13 needing to grow different skillsets. Leadership, brotherhood, and wellness through this experience these young men will gain real world skills needed to mature into their best selves. Our purpose is all about helping young men develop into their best selves through meaningful connections and personal growth.
We are currrently focusing on serving young boys in Local Area Zip Codes: 21231, 21224, 21205, 21202, 21213, and 21218.
We are only able to accept 7 participants for this program
