Jamy is the founder and owner of Barreau Legal, PLLC, focusing his practice on estate planning, probate, trust administration, and business planning. A Port St. Lucie native, Jamy received his high school diploma from St. Lucie West Centennial High School and continued his studies at the University of Central Florida where he obtained his BS in Legal Studies. Then, Jamy earned his JD from Barry University School of Law. During his time at Barry Law, Jamy had the privilege of serving on the editorial board of Barry’s Law Review as its Research and Technical Editor. Also, in his time at law school, Jamy was honored to have his own work chosen for publication in the Barry Law Review Journal. Jamy is a proud graduate of Boston University School of Law's LLM in Taxation program. It is his hope to bring his expertise and knowledge in drafting, estate planning, and probate to assist his clients throughout Florida.
Since the 1980s, the National Association of Black Accountants Minneapolis-St. Paul Chapter has been dedicated to empowering minorities and underrepresented groups pursuing careers in accounting, finance, information technology, and business-related fields in Saint Paul and the greater Twin Cities area. Guided by NABA's foundational motto of "Lifting As We Climb," the chapter embodies a community-centered philosophy that emphasizes mutual support, professional development, and collective advancement. Over more than two decades, the organization has cultivated meaningful relationships with local corporations, universities, high schools, and community organizations, recognizing these partnerships as essential to achieving lasting impact. The chapter provides avenues for members to develop both technical expertise and interpersonal skills while remaining relevant in an ever-changing professional landscape. Beyond individual member growth, the Minneapolis-St. Paul Chapter is deeply invested in community service, offering members opportunities to volunteer their talents and contribute to the Saint Paul community.
