The Catholic Medical Association fulfills its mission at the local and national levels: At the local level, the CMA is organized into “chartered guilds.” Chartered guilds can be formed at the level of a parish, city, or diocese with a minimum of 6 physicians. Members work together to support each other as well as medical students and residents; provide education; and serve the local Church and the public. Chartered guilds are organized into 11 regions, each supported by two Regional Directors. From its headquarters in Philadelphia, the National Office: (1) provides administrative support for organization-wide projects (including Task Forces and the Annual Educational Conference); (2) collaborates with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) and allied organizations to address ethical, legal, and policy issues at the national level; and (3) coordinates CMA’s public relations and educational strategies by issuing statements, White Papers, and responding to media inquiries. As Catholic Physicians of the United States and Canada, we come together in the Catholic Medical Association in order to grow in the spirit of Christ in our personal and professional lives, to bring His Spirit to all that is touched by our science and art, and to assist the Vicar of Christ, the Bishops, and the whole Christian community with leadership, especially with the particular knowledge, skill, and experience we have as Christian Physicians.

The Catholic Lawyers Guild of Kansas City is a non-profit organization of Catholic legal professionals in the greater Kansas City area. The purpose of the Guild is to provide Catholic legal professionals with a network of individuals who share the faith and tradition of the Catholic Church. The primary event that the Guild sponsors is the Annual Red Mass and reception. The Guild also sponsors a monthly lecture series, occasional general meetings, fundraisers, socials, a family summer event, and the end of year Christmas meeting and social. Dr Boley is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and has his PhD in counseling. He is a convert to the Church. His parents were evangelical missionaries in Brazil for 30 years. Dr Boley has degrees from University of Michigan, Fuller Theological Seminary (in clinical psychology), University of London, and Regent University (PhD in counseling).
