- Administer Norwegian language exams (Bergenstesten)
- Assist with general questions about consular assistance, pension, and UDI
(Utlendingsdirektoratet, Norwegian Directorate of Immigration)
- Answer questions about the process of moving to Norway
- Answer questions about travel to Norway
US citizens do not need a visa to travel in Norway for short term tourist visits (maximum 90 days)
The Accounting & Financial Women's Alliance is the home for all accounting professionals whether new to the field, experienced or considering a career transition.
The mission of AFWA is to enable professionals in all accounting and related fields to achieve their full personal, professional and economic potential and to contribute to the future development of their profession.
The Accounting & Financial Women's Alliance was formed as the American Society of Women Accountants in 1938 to increase the opportunities for women in all fields of accounting and finance. Members include partners in national, regional and local CPA firms, financial officers, controllers, academicians, financial analysts and data processing consultants, recent college graduates and women returning to the work force. The majority of our members have attained professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, CIA, and CFP.
AFWA is a national association with one Montana chapter. Our chapters offer leadership, networking and educational opportunities. Participating in chapter meetings, seminars, regional & national conferences allow members to maximize the value of their AFWA membership.
The Billings Chapter was formed in 1976 and gives our members the opportunity to develop their leadership skills as we support our community and future accounting and financial professionals. Our chapter members are accounting and financial professionals with a variety of accounting and financial experience. We have young professionals, mid level professionals and retirees sharing their career experiences.
The National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center, Inc. (NIWRC) is a Native-led nonprofit organization dedicated to ending violence against Native women and children. The NIWRC provides national leadership in ending gender-based violence in tribal communities by lifting up the collective voices of grassroots advocates and offering culturally grounded resources, technical assistance and training, and policy development to strengthen tribal sovereignty. Our staff and board of directors consist of Native women from throughout the United States with extensive experience and commitment to ending violence against Native women and their children. NIWRC's staff bring decades of expertise in building the grassroots movement to increase tribal responses to domestic violence and increase safety for Native women.
Our mission is to provide national leadership to end violence against American Indian, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian women by supporting culturally grounded, grassroots advocacy.
