Since 1974, the Chinese American Cultural Association has been a cornerstone of cultural preservation and community harmony in Edison and throughout New Jersey. As a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, CACA is dedicated to fostering Chinese-American cultural exchange, maintaining Chinese heritage in America, and promoting mutual appreciation of Chinese arts and culture. The organization brings together more than 4,000 members through a diverse coalition of member institutions including five Chinese language schools, the Chinese American Music and Dance Ensembles, a Women's Club, a 40-Plus Club, a Youth Club, and various cultural exchange groups. What sets CACA apart is its holistic approach to community building—the organization goes beyond traditional cultural programming to create meaningful connections across generations and backgrounds. By organizing annual cultural festivals, supporting educational initiatives, recognizing community service through awards, and facilitating intergenerational programs, CACA strengthens the fabric of the Edison community and surrounding areas. The association's commitment to non-partisan cultural promotion and community harmony reflects its core values of inclusivity and shared cultural pride. Whether through language education, artistic performances, recreational activities, or community celebrations, CACA provides Edison residents with meaningful opportunities to connect with Chinese heritage while building stronger, more vibrant neighborhoods. For over 50 years, CACA has remained a trusted advocate for cultural preservation and community engagement in New Jersey.
