Truth Be Told: Black History Is…is a rich, celebratory journey through dance, music, and generational memory—honoring the wisdom of our elders while nourishing the dreams of those who come after them.
At a time when dominant narratives attempt to flatten the Black experience into a single story, our elders step forward as storytellers and guides. Their stories become roadmaps. Their victories become lessons. And their presence offers direction for the generations rising behind them.
Truth Be Told: Black History Is… invites audiences to remember, reflect, and leave renewed—carrying forward a legacy that refuses to be boxed in and continues to rise.
