BWIC Laff Fest is a groundbreaking five-day festival dedicated to empowerment through education and performance, advocacy through mental health and wellness support, and community through meaningful national networks. Expect a hilarious lineup of comedians as we create space for joy, connection, and culture — all while supporting an organization that has helped propel comedians to opportunities with TruTV, Just For Laughs, and beyond. Come laugh with us, support Black women in comedy, and be part of a night that’s about more than just jokes — it’s about building something bigger together. Your hosts, Alexis Bradby, Kristal Adams, and Isabelle Pierre invite you to a unique night of comedy featuring diverse voices that have been curated by a diverse team. Whether they wear glasses in real life or just have the essence of someone who does, each comedian brings unique hilarity to a lineup you can find only at a bookstore! This is a ticketed in-store event with limited amphitheater-style seating. $5 of the ticket price can be applied towards your purchase of any product in our bookstore or café the night of the event. The remaining cost of your ticket goes directly to the talent!
