Roc-A-Natural Cultural Foundation Inc and Alkebulan Consciousness Rising presents the 4th Annual Kwanzaa Celebration! Unity In The Community, Friday, December 26, 2025.
This year, we will continue to kick-off the Kwanzaa celebration with the first Principle, Umoja (Unity), hosted at the Central Family Life Center, 59 Wright Street, Staten Island, NY 10304 from 6:30pm to 10:30pm.
Everyone is invited to learn about the 7 Kwanzaa Principle Values encouraging us to rise higher as individuals, families, and communities. Enjoy DJ music, African drumming, dance, performances, lighting of the candles, storytime with I-Am-I - “Roots, Rhythms and Reflections”, shopping at the Unity Marketplace, and the feast, "Karamu," which is made possible due to the generous donations of our donors, allowing families and communities to gather, reflect on our African heritage, honor our ancestors, and strengthen bonds through the shared act of eating a meal rich in cultural significance; essentially, it's a way to celebrate our history and unity while enjoying food that tells the story of our lineage during this festive Kwanzaa holiday.
