The Polish American Club was established on March 7th, 1980. The articles and records of incorporation are kept as part of our history and our founding fathers described the club’s purpose as follows: “To promote social and cultural interest with the Poles and Americans residing in Columbus and surrounding areas”.
PolishYoungstown was created in 2008 to educate and inspire Mahoning Valley residents on all things Polish. It accomplishes this by developing, promoting and supporting related classes, workshops, speakers and special events. Its goal is to promote Polish customs with accuracy and liveliness, so that Mahoning Valley residents of Polish descent and others will grow in appreciation of their heritage as well as the cultures of others.
PolishYoungstown was created to celebrate and preserve the colorful Polish culture that has been a vital part of the Mahoning Valley community.
