American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI) Oklahoma was formed under the umbrella of National AAPI in 1988 and currently has over 100 active physician members. The association has strived over the years to gather and deliberate on ways to enhance physicians’ professional growth. AAPI Oklahoma has provided a forum to explore possibilities of giving back to the Community.
Our Mission
- To bring together Physicians & Allied Health Professionals from Indian origin in the state of Oklahoma
- To foster social and cultural understanding
- To support and foster availability of medical assistance to indigent people in the state of Oklahoma and India
- To encourage collaboration amongst Health Care Providers of Indian Origin
The India Association of Greater Tulsa ("Association") is established to promote strong and close communication, solidarity, unity and understanding, among people of Indian origin, of all ages, living in the Greater Tulsa area, and to instill a better understanding of Indian culture in the local communities.
The Association will work to advance the cause of people of Indian origin with appropriate interactions with individuals and organizations.
The Association is a non-profit organization and its operation shall meet regulatory requirements applicable to such organizations.
The Association is a secular organization. Any person with roots in India and/or interest in Indian culture is eligible to become a member and participate in Association activities.
