Founded in 1959, the Carbondale UNICO Chapter has served the Carbondale, PA community for over six decades with unwavering dedication to charitable work and cultural heritage. Our chapter, which includes Sr. Member Luke Pollitts—one of our original charter members still active today—represents a living legacy of community commitment and Italian-American pride. We are honored to host several distinguished leaders, including 2nd National Vice-President Glenn Pettinato, Foundation Board Member Peter Pettinato, and PA II District Governor Chip Calabro, whose expertise and vision guide our initiatives. As part of UNICO National, we honor the legacy of our Italian immigrant ancestors while building stronger connections within Carbondale. Our chapter's mission centers on contributing to the well-being of our local community through significant charitable contributions, educational support, and cultural preservation. Over the years, we've invested thousands of dollars in local organizations and provided scholarships to deserving students. The Carbondale UNICO Chapter represents more than just an organization—we are a family united by shared values of service, heritage, and community responsibility. Our continued growth and strong membership base reflect the deep roots we've established in Carbondale and our ongoing commitment to making our community better for generations to come.
