Black Excellence El Paso: Rooted in Resilience is a Black History Month program celebrating the legacy, achievements, and impact of the Black community in El Paso. The event honors local leaders, entrepreneurs, creatives, and change-makers while providing space for education, mingling among peers, enjoying food, and building community through speakers, awards, vendors, and cultural expression.
The Austin Black Lawyers Association in collaboration with the Hispanic Bar Association of Austin, the South Asian Bar Association of Austin, and the Travis County Womens Lawyers' Association presents this 2026 Candidate Forum and Endorsement Meeting, which is scheduled for February 3, 2026 from 6 PM-10 PM. The location is Jackson Walker, which is located at 100 Congress Ave. STE 1100, Austin, TX 78701.
The Candidate Forum will feature judicial candidates in contested elections for the Supreme Court, Court of Criminal Appeals, Third Court of Appeals, District Court, County Court-at-Law, and Justice of the Peace.
