Partnership With Native Americans, headquartered in Addison, Texas, is a Native-led and Native-serving nonprofit organization dedicated to championing hope and lasting change for Native American communities living on remote, isolated, and impoverished reservations. With over 30 years of collaborative partnership with tribal communities, PWNA has evolved a distinctive approach called "The PWNA Way," grounded in principles of stewardship, volunteerism, and respect for tribal self-determination. The organization believes that Native people living and working within tribal communities possess the solutions to their own challenges, and PWNA's role is to serve as a trusted partner and resource supporting community-driven efforts. What distinguishes PWNA is its deep cultural competency, extensive knowledge of Native history, and ability to reach remote reservation communities that most organizations cannot access due to geographic isolation or lack of cultural understanding. PWNA's network includes hundreds of reservation program partners—Native Americans who live and work on reservations—ensuring that aid reaches those who need it most while respecting each tribe's unique goals and priorities. The organization connects outside resources directly to reservations through its established distribution network, creating pathways for meaningful support. Beyond direct services, PWNA is committed to public education and raising "NativeAware" consciousness, working to correct misconceptions about Native people, history, and tribal funding. Serving communities across nine priority states, PWNA impacts up to 200,000 Native Americans annually while maintaining the highest standards of transparency and accountability, holding accreditation from the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance and GuideStar Platinum Exchange status.
