More About Us...
Who We Are
The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Professionals Houston is a community of professionals dedicated to increasing the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact their communities.
Our What
Our 2026 goal is to raise $100,000 through our Annual Golf Tournament to fund scholarships for students in the Houston area—providing critical support as they pursue and complete their engineering education.
Our Why
We believe education transforms lives. Many talented students face financial barriers that limit their potential. By removing those barriers, we empower future leaders, innovators, and change-makers and foster a more diverse and inclusive engineering field.
How We Show Up
Beyond fundraising, we stay actively engaged through initiatives like Fresh Start, member socials, professional development programs, and ongoing collegiate and pre-collegiate outreach each month—building community and supporting the pipeline of future engineers.
