The Consulate of Ecuador in Houston has jurisdiction in the States of Texas, Louisiana, Kansas, Arkansas and Oklahoma. Provides consular services to the Ecuadorian community residing in these States, such as: Issuance of passports, notarial acts (powers of attorney), issuance of various civil registry documents. Additionally, it attends and processes visa requests for foreign citizens who wish to travel to Ecuador for tourist purposes or to reside temporarily or permanently.
Finally, the Consulate of Ecuador in Houston, being a border, provides assistance services for the location of Ecuadorian citizens who, in their attempt to enter the United States, are missing, detained, have suffered an accident or, unfortunately, they have passed away.
