Founded in 2016, PFLAG Mount Horeb has grown into a vital community resource serving Mount Horeb, Wisconsin with a mission centered on love, respect, and affirmation for all people regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. We believe in the fundamental value of every individual and work to build a foundation of loving families united with LGBTQ+ people and allies who support one another unconditionally. Our chapter embodies three core principles established since our inception: supporting each other through shared experiences, educating ourselves and our communities about LGBTQ issues and perspectives, and advocating for inclusion until all hearts and minds respect, value, and affirm LGBTQ people. As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, we provide confidential spaces where individuals can connect with others who understand their journeys and challenges. Our vision extends beyond Mount Horeb to imagine a world where diversity is celebrated and all people are affirmed in their authentic selves. We gather monthly to strengthen our bonds, share knowledge, and collectively work toward systemic change.
