Founded in 1983, the Women's Foundation of Minnesota holds a historic distinction as the nation's very first statewide women's foundation, serving the Minneapolis, MN area and communities throughout Minnesota. This pioneering organization emerged from a deep commitment to gender equality and has since evolved into a powerful force for systemic change, working alongside grassroots leaders and community members to transform the conditions that impact every woman, girl, and gender-expansive person's life.
