Onuk Nelut: A T’boli Food & Cultural Experience Join us for a meaningful food and cultural experience led by T’boli culture bearer Lyn Buti, who will share knowledge and traditions surrounding Onuk Nelut, a traditional T’boli dish. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from Lyn, observe and participate in the preparation of Onuk Nelut, and enjoy the finished dish together. Through food, conversation, and hands-on learning, this experience offers an opportunity to connect with T’boli cultural traditions and learn directly from a T’boli culture bearer. Please note: This is an off-site event. Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the event location. Specific location and arrival instructions will be provided upon registration/confirmation. Space is limited, and advance registration is required.

Learn 4 traditional Filipino dances over 2 days with Parangal artists and Culture Bearers. Move, connect, and celebrate Filipino culture! Living Traditions: Filipino Dance with Parangal & Culture Bearers October 24 & 25 Join us for a special two-day Filipino traditional dance workshop featuring Parangal Dance Company Artistic Director Eric Solano and team, alongside T’boli Culture Bearer Lyn Buti and Kalinga Culture Bearer Jenny Young. Over two days, participants will learn four dances inspired by the living traditions of the Philippines, while exploring the movement, stories, and cultural knowledge connected to each tradition. This workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn directly from accomplished Filipino dance artists and Culture Bearers and deepen our connection to the diverse cultural traditions of the Philippines. Workshop Options 2-Day Pass — $125 Includes both days of instruction and all four dances. Single-Day Pass — $70 Choose one day of instruction and learn the dances taught that day. Dance + Food Combo — $100 Planning to join our Food Workshop on Sunday morning? A special discounted combo ticket is available for those who want to participate in both! Please note: The Food Workshop overlaps with Sunday morning's dance instruction, so the Dance + Food Combo does not include the overlapping Sunday morning dance session. You’ll still have the opportunity to participate in the remaining Sunday dance instruction, as well as the other day's workshop.
