Rogers College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Barrett Honor’s College at Arizona State University. He has worked for the Pima County Attorney’s Office, the Maricopa County Public Defender’s Office, and the Arizona State Legislature. Mr. Taylor was a Statewide Officer for The State Bar of Arizona Criminal Justice Section Executive Council, and was selected for the State Bar Leadership Institute. He is actively involved in the Maricopa County Bar Association. Mr. Taylor volunteers with the Maricopa County Branch of NAACP legal redress committee and mentors through various organizations. He has participated in the Arizona State Bar Pipeline Program and The Arizona State Bar Law Camp which informs elementary and high school students of their legal rights. Annually, he looks forward to providing free legal advice to veterans at the Arizona Veteran’s Stand-down. He was recognized as an Unsung Hero at the Legislative Leadership Conference and one of the state’s top 35 entrepreneurs under 35 by the Arizona Republic. Mr. Taylor was a 40 Under 40 National Bar Association award recipient and a 40 under 40 Phoenix Business Journal award recipient. Mr. Taylor is also a member of the Maricopa County Bar Association and State Bar Board of Governors.
We are an organization of Catholic attorneys and legal professionals that seek to inspire and strengthen the faith of the Maricopa County legal community by following the example of St. Thomas More, our patron saint and martyr. The organization is led by a Board that offers events and continuing legal education seminars, including the annual Red Mass, to support the Catholic legal community.
The Society's goal is to inspire and lift up the minds and hearts of the Maricopa County legal community to follow the example of St. Thomas More by integrating God in every aspect of their legal practice. The Society seeks to accomplish this goal through CLE seminars, the annual Red Mass, community involvement and other inspirational and educational events to promote interaction among the members.
The St. Thomas More Society in Phoenix is an association of legal professionals whose mission is to preserve and promulgate the highest standards of professional knowledge, skills, integrity, ethics, civility, dignity and justice in accord with the best traditions of the legal profession and the Catholic faith; and also to further the intellectual and spiritual growth, as well as the welfare of its members through cultivation and promotion of Catholic principles and traditions and their application to modern problems, including pro bono efforts to make the legal system more accessible, responsive and effective.
