Presented by The Phoenix Metropolitan Chapter of The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., the event pays homage to the life and legacy of Madam C.J. Walker, America’s first self-made millionairess. This year’s event is a full day of education and resources devoted to equipping Black women to build generational wealth.
It’s More Than an Event - It’s a Movement
Whether you want to buy a home, launch or grow your business, or invest wisely, you’ll have the opportunity to learn directly from local industry experts. The Expo will also provide a showcase for Black women-owned businesses, with unique opportunities for shopping, inspiration and networking with local entrepreneurs and community partners.
Women's Rowing Club at Arizona State University represents a vibrant student organization based in Tempe, AZ that brings together athletes passionate about competitive rowing and team achievement. This student-led program has cultivated a strong community of rowers who value the unique combination of individual athletic development and collective team success that rowing provides.
At its core, the Women's Rowing Club serves as more than just a competitive athletics program—it's a community where students from diverse backgrounds come together around a shared commitment to excellence. The organization celebrates the bonds formed through early morning training sessions at Tempe Town Lake Marina and the camaraderie built through rigorous preparation and competition. The team's culture emphasizes unity and mutual support, creating an environment where both novice and experienced athletes can thrive.
The club's coaching staff, led by Kristine Malcolm and Morten Larsen, brings expertise and dedication to developing each athlete's potential. With a full roster of committed team members and regular participation in regional and national regattas, the Women's Rowing Club has established itself as an integral part of ASU's athletic community in Tempe.
