Each year, more than 5,000 guests join us for one of Arizona’s most vibrant cultural events. Since its founding in 2007 as the Iranian American Society of Arizona (IASAz), the Arizona Persian Cultural Center has grown into a cornerstone of cultural community building in Scottsdale, AZ. What began as a small association promoting cultural holidays and events has evolved into a fully operational cultural center with a permanent home in North Scottsdale, welcoming diverse individuals united by their dedication to Persian art, history, culture, and literature. AZPCC operates entirely through volunteer efforts, creating an inclusive space for people of all professions, backgrounds, beliefs, and ages. The Center's vision extends beyond cultural celebration to serve as a bridge-building institution, fostering understanding and friendship among Iranian-American community members while introducing broader Arizona residents to Persian heritage and traditions. Operating as a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, AZPCC is committed to three core pillars: Culture, Community, and Charity. The organization provides youth mentorship and guidance, creates comfortable environments for elderly community members, and offers reliable information on social, legal, and health concerns affecting the community. AZPCC's comprehensive library of audio, visual, and literary resources supports cultural preservation and education. From hosting potlucks and family fun days to organizing major cultural festivals and workshops, the Center embodies the belief that "we are stronger together." Located in Scottsdale, AZPCC welcomes curious minds and open hearts to attend events, explore Persian culture, connect with community, and contribute to a thriving Iranian-American cultural legacy in Arizona.
