Founded in 1962 by passionate East Bay women, Alliance Française de Berkeley has grown into a vibrant cultural hub serving francophiles and francophones of all ages throughout the Berkeley, CA community. Today, Alliance Française de Berkeley is part of a global network of more than 800 Alliance Française chapters, with 118 located across North America alone. We welcome American and French men and women who share a passion for language, culture, and cross-cultural understanding.
