Class Details Date: Tuesdays, April 7 - June 2 (9 class meetings) Time: 6:00pm - 7:00pm Age: 5 - Adults Instructor: Jeniffer Sanchez Danza Azteca Fundamentals Step into the ancient traditions of Mexico with this empowering Aztec Dance class, a celebration of indigenous culture, spirituality, and rhythm. In this class, you'll learn the fundamental movements, footwork, and drum patterns (huehuetl) of Danza Azteca, a ceremonial dance that honors the earth and the cosmos. Emphasis is placed on connecting with the history, symbolism, and spiritual significance behind each step. Through dynamic and powerful choreography, you'll gain strength, endurance, and a deeper connection to the ancestral roots of this ancient tradition. Open to dancers of all levels, this class offers a unique opportunity to experience the cultural richness of Aztec dance while fostering a sense of community and respect for indigenous heritage. Registration and Refund Policy: Please provide an Eventbrite ticket on the first day of class as proof of enrollment. Students under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
