Saturday, April 18th, 2026 Spring starts in earnest with the annual celebration of the famous Bockbier coming to the Sacramento Turn Verein on Saturday, April 18th, 2026. This traditional Bockbierfest will present authentic German Bockbier from Germany, great German music and a variety of German foods. Wonderful German dancing music will be provided by local favorite bands, plus special performances of German traditional dances by the Alpentänzer Schuhplattler. One day only in 2026, our building is 100 years old! Doors will open at 3:00 p.m. with all activities available to enjoy until 11:00 p.m. Food and drink available upstairs, downstairs and in the Biergarten. German dance music will be provided in the Main Hall by The Gruber Family Band. Outdoor Biergarten music by the Alpenmeisters. AKAlive! will perform upstairs in our Banquet Hall. The Turn Verein’s delicious Kaffeehaus serves specialty desserts and the outdoor Biergarten will have unique Bockbier from Germany plus our wonderful curry wurst. Pre-purchase admission is $25 for adults, children up to 12 years, $5.00. Adult tickets at the door $30 if available.
