The Equal Justice Awards Reception is HBA-DC's annual gala where we recognize individuals and organizations that have made extraordinary contributions to achieving equal justice in the District of Columbia. This year's event will be held at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco on Friday, November 13, 2026, with the reception beginning at 6:00 pm, the awards program at 8:00 pm, and a post-awards reception at 9:00 pm. Dress code is black tie optional.
The Equal Justice Awards reception historically provides you with an opportunity to honor the exceptional accomplishments of Hispanic lawyers in our community and to encourage others to continue providing much needed legal support. Net proceeds from the event allow the HBA-DC to continue serving its members through professional development events, mentoring programs, judicial and other endorsements, job referrals, policy advocacy, and supporting the community through legal clinics, education and many other activities.
