Over the last 15 years the Brevard Indian Medical and Dental Association (BIMDA) has become one of the leading organizations of its kind in Central Florida.
BIMDA is a not-for-profit membership-based organization of 225-plus physicians and dentists serving Brevard County and East Central Florida since 1999. BIMDA is a tax-exempt 501-c-6 organization dedicated to Medical Education, Physician Leadership Development, Community Service and Philanthropy.
BIMDA'S Objectives:
- To bring together physicians, dentists and other medical scientists of Indian heritage residing in Brevard county and central Florida.
- The association is organized exclusively for scientific, educational, cultural, and charitable purposes.
- To assist medical, dental, and students of human sciences and physicians & dentists in pursuing their career.
- To conduct seminars and other educational programs to acquaint members of new scientific developments in the field of human medicine.
- To support and foster the availability of medical assistance to indigent people in Brevard County, Central Florida and India.
- To make contributions to organizations those qualify as tax exempt organizations under section 501[c] of the IRS code of 1986, or the corresponding provision of any future U.S. IRS law.

- To maintain a directory of physicians of Indian origin.

Indian Physicians of Florida is a non-profit Physician Society serving the tri-county area in South Florida and is an affiliate of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI)

American Association of Cardiologists of Indian Origin provides a central forum for physicians and scientists of Indian origin, living in the United States, who have interest in Cardiovascular Medicine. We are committed to promote and maintain high standard of academic excellence and clinical practice of cardiology through educational, social, and scientific activities. We maintain close liaison with local, national, and international cardiovascular societies and organizations. We also address the special cardiovascular health problems of the Indian community in the US.
Central Florida Association of Physicians from the Indian Subcontinent Inc. (CAPI), is an organization comprised largely of Physicians and Dentists with heritage from South East Asia, currently practicing in the Central Florida area, USA.
The purpose of the organization is to provide its member physicians and dentists a forum to facilitate professional opportunities for continuing medical education, medical conferences, community health fairs, professional & leadership development, networking and above all, service to the Central Florida healthcare community.
