Founded on the principles established by Marion Stubbs Thomas in 1938, Jack and Jill of America, Inc., has grown into a transformative force in communities nationwide, with the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chapter serving families in Davie, Florida, and the surrounding Broward County region. This membership organization of mothers is rooted in a profound commitment to ensuring that all children have equal opportunities for a graceful and beautiful adulthood. The chapter's mission extends beyond its own members' children, reflecting a deep-seated belief in equitable access to social, cultural, and educational experiences for all youth ages 2 to 19. Since its inception, Jack and Jill has cultivated a supportive community where mothers come together to strengthen their children through collaborative programming, meaningful volunteer work, and shared philanthropic values. The Greater Fort Lauderdale Chapter embodies this legacy by actively engaging in community service, legislative advocacy, and charitable initiatives that make tangible differences in families' lives. Members appreciate the organization's emphasis on building character, fostering leadership qualities, and creating networks of support that extend far beyond individual chapters.
