Founded by approximately twenty dedicated black accountants in Miami, FL, the National Association of Black Accountants Greater Miami-South Florida Chapter has been advancing minority participation in accounting and finance for nearly five decades. The chapter's mission centers on addressing the professional needs that enable African-Americans to maximize their career potential while uniting accountants, business professionals, and students committed to professional and academic excellence. What distinguishes this organization is its dual commitment to individual member success and community impact. The chapter actively encourages students to enter the accounting profession through educational support and mentorship, while simultaneously working to increase minority interest and awareness in the field. Members participate in meaningful community service opportunities, allowing them to fulfill civic responsibilities and give back to the Miami and South Florida communities they serve.
