PFLAG Sandy Springs emerged from the heart of the community when residents of Dunwoody, Roswell, Sandy Springs, and Alpharetta sought more convenient access to local support and advocacy resources. What began as participants attending PFLAG Johns Creek meetings evolved into a dedicated local chapter, with monthly support group meetings launching in the community rooms of Congregation Bnai Torah in Sandy Springs. In March 2020, PFLAG Sandy Springs achieved official recognition as a nonprofit corporation, solidifying its commitment to serving the northern Atlanta suburbs. The organization's mission centers on building loving families united with LGBTQ+ people and allies who support one another, while educating the broader community to become advocates for equality and acceptance. PFLAG Sandy Springs honors a vision where diversity is celebrated and all people are respected, valued, and affirmed regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. The chapter demonstrates its dedication to comprehensive support by offering resources beyond meetings, including connections to crisis intervention hotlines, assistance for unhoused LGBTQ+ youth, and links to educational events. As part of the national PFLAG movement—established as the first organization of its kind to unite families across multiple generations—PFLAG Sandy Springs carries forward decades of advocacy work while remaining deeply rooted in local community relationships and personal connections that sustain healing and change.

Joe Domaleski is the founder of Country Fried Creative, an award-winning digital marketing agency celebrating 23 years of service in Peachtree City, Georgia. Joe is an energetic & experienced executive with a passion for BETTER MARKETING. He uses data science & machine learning to improve marketing. Joe leads a team of 12 local professionals and was recently honored as the 2024 Peachtree City Rotary Business Leader of the Year. His company was named the 2021 Small Business of the Year by the Fayette Chamber.
Joe brings a unique technical depth to his work, holding a BS in Mathematics/Computer Science from UNG and an MBA from GSU. He is currently furthering his expertise at Georgia Tech, where he is pursuing a Master’s degree in analytics and machine learning. A proud Army veteran and consummate community volunteer, Joe is dedicated to helping small businesses and nonprofit organizations bridge the gap between human-centric work and cutting-edge data science, including Artificial Intelligence (AI). He regularly speaks to local civic groups and is a guest lecturer in undergraduate business courses at Georgia State, Clayton State, and UNG. Joe has been married to his wife Mary Catherine for 32 years and they have three grown children.

With a decade spent near Chicago and another in Atlanta as SafeHouse Outreach's CEO, his passion to help those underserved and train others remains steadfast. He currently resides in the Southside of Atlantawith his wife of two decades and three children and dedicates leisure time to exciting activities alongside his young and amazing family.
