Since its establishment in 1989, Alliance Française d'Indianapolis has grown from a small French expression club into a vibrant cultural organization serving the Indianapolis, IN area and surrounding regions. Founded during a period of increased French-speaking immigration and commercial exchange between France and Indiana, the organization evolved from its original incarnation as Améri-France, Inc. into an official Alliance Française chapter in 1995.
