Since evolving from its origins as Columbus Chinese Association-Taiwan in the 1990s, CCA has become a vital bridge connecting Columbus, IN's Chinese community and culture enthusiasts. Founded on the principle of preserving and sharing Chinese heritage, the organization transformed in 2000 when community members from Taiwan and China established the Columbus Chinese Language School, gaining widespread local support. This transformation led to the organization's name change to Columbus Chinese Association, reflecting its expanded mission to serve all overseas Chinese and anyone passionate about Chinese culture.
